Six kilometers from the center of Helsingborg, the new station of Raus Södra was established. This provides an opportunity for new housing developments in the area.
The area is sloped, providing a spectacular view accross the strait. A traditional single family housing area lies to the east, and an open field lies to the west.
By compacting some of the living areas, this allows other areas to open up. Housing is arranged in long rows with dense planting bordering the lawn areas. These green areas run in a north-south direction. Towards the North, one looks uphill, while the view of the strait is framed by the greenery towards the South.
The overall plan is conceived so that individual architectural and housing styles are contained within this structural green frame.
