The courthouse in Holstebro is situated on a large lawn with precise iron edges emphasizing the building and establishing a welcoming setting. Two circles of ash trees have been planted between the building and the road. The trees share one common crown, in the same symbolic way that the courthouse consists of several buildings under one unifying roof. South of the building, a raised bed with flowering shrubs has been established.
